READ THIS IF YOU WANT TO JOIN!
Here it is, everyone: the plan for the ultimate LA walking tour! 7 hours, 7.5 miles of roads, dozens of landmarks and icons to discuss, this tour is going to be HUGE! I've broken down our day into different tour segments. Besides the start and end, all tour segments stop/start at Metro station. We will always meet at the train stations! This should make it easy to hop on or off the tour. We will also be using the Metro, so be sure to bring a tap card or train fare! Please send me a message if you plan to join, especially if you want to meet up with the group partway through the tour, otherwise I may not know to wait for you and you may miss the group! I'll also send you more info about parking, restrooms, etc...
1. Meet at Evergreen Cemetery at 9 am. We will be leaving by 9:15!
2. Part 1 ends at Mariachi Plaza. This will be around 10:30.
3. Part 2 will start at the Mariachi Metro station and go to Little Tokyo. This will be a long section that will take about 2 hours (these times include breaks for snacks, restrooms, etc.)
4. We should be ready to start Part 3 around 12:30/45. This will continue the Little Tokyo segment and take us through the Civic Center to Chinatown.
5. Around 2 p.m., we will board the Metro and ride from Chinatown back to Historic Broadway.
6. Part 4 is the homestretch! This is the final walk-up 2nd Street to Echo Park!
That's how we will see a TON of LA. I'm so excited to lead this tour for everyone. Even if no one shows, I'll still do the walk myself.
